An advocate is someone who pleads the case or the cause of another person {Jesusisjustice}

I signed up to pray for Michele, so below is my Wednesday morning prayer for this blood red boot wearing sister. My word for this year is Jesus. Since Jesus is so much more than a word, we are doing what I call Jesus365. Yes, 365 days of Jesus, right here are this blog. I wrote about it here. I’m sure Jesus365 will evolve as we move forward into this new year. Our Jesus word for today is Advocate. An advocate is a person who publicly supports or recommends a particular cause or policy. An advocate is also someone who pleads the case or the cause of another person or persons–usually in a judicial court. #Jesusisjustice

It is both an honor and a privilege to approach the throne of mercy and grace on behalf of another all praise be to our Father in heaven … Today and forever more Father please continue to shield, guide and protect your boot wearing daughter Michele C. You created a mighty warier in this one daughter and she knows through experience that you alone are able. Father cause Michele to remember and reflect on how you alone have brought the all of her this far. Father we ask that you touch Michele like you did Moses in the clef of the rock. Father pass by her in this hour so she may see your glory in that she may continue to boldly declare your mighty name. In the mighty name of Jesus we do pray. Amen.

That is exactly what he is. He is our Advocate. And we should be advocates for others.

But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you. John 14:26

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father–Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.1 John 2:1
