Day ten of Thirty-one days to becoming one in Christ Jesus: radical racial reconciliation & reconstruction #RRRR

RRRRIt’s day ten of Thirty-one (31) days to becoming one in Christ Jesus: radical racial reconciliation and reconstruction. I missed days eight and nine. I will add them at the very end, for they contain some resources I want you to have but I’m not willing to share with you until I’m already there. Our Father tells us to be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. So, yes this is my way of being shrewd. The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.

In order to reconstruct we must first deconstruct. I hope over the past seven days we have shared some truths to help us deconstruct our view of the white man. I know it’s hard to believe our Father would allow a people, any people to endure such hardships. But he did and he does and hardship has no thing to do with his love. I know you’ve heard and likely you are tired of hearing about the children of Israel and their four hundred years of bondage. I know you’ve heard and likely you are tired of hearing about the children of Israel and this man named Moses. I know you’ve heard and likely you are tired of hearing about the children of Israel and the many plagues our Father used to let Pharoah and the Egyptians know of the one and only Great I am.

Every so often we forget who our Father is. Every so often we forget who we belong to. Every so often we become so very great in the world of sports and entertainment and yes even ministry that we forget how far our Father has brought us. Every so often we lay down with that we do not know and we end up very close to God but far away from the people of God. Every so often we forget Jesus loves us. Every so often we get so high and mighty we forget who is in charge.

Like the children of Israel, we be making bricks and gathering our own straw and we don’t have to. We’ve never had to. But, we are so caught up in the glamour of all the hand-held devices we have no idea what we are slaves to. Why, we don’t even realized we’ve forgotten how to read or write.

In order to reconstruct in love, we must first deconstruct in truth.

Do you know the truth of who and whose you are?

John 8:32
