Yesterday in BSF class, I learned or shall I say relearned that the word Gospel means Good News. I also learned that the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke are called the Synoptic Gospels which means with the same vision. However, John’s Gospel is different. John wrote to counter the Greek philosophy and false gospels mentioned by Paul. With all that said, I wonder if John knew his assignment was different or was it that John loved Jesus too much than to share anything but the truth.
On a different note, the other day, I was in a room with Beverly Lewis, age 67 the author of 90 books. I had to leave the Book Signing Party to get on the bus, so time was not allowed for me to pose a question to her. So, as I walked away, I asked God, how does someone write ninety books and The Lord promptly replied one reads ninety books. I love HIM and I am looking forward to one day reading Beverly’s very first book … The Shunning.
