The Good News Sunday Show

An open letter to Marvelous, Infinite, Matchless Grace

BLOG-gNSS-200

I walk around in a haze half the time not knowing what I’m doing.

I’m a pretty smart chick, but I ain’t got nothing.

I walk around like my head’s  in the clouds half the time not knowing what I’m doing.

I’m a pretty smart woman, but I don’t know nothing.

Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt.

I sit quietly alone on a city bus stop tears flowing gently into my hands.

I’m a pretty smart wife but I ain’t got nothing.

I sit quietly alone on a floral vintage couch fears sweeping my heart away.

I’m a pretty smart Mother, but I don’t know nothing.

Grace that will pardon and cleanse within.

I stand quietly alone on a field of greens.

I’m a pretty smart sister, but I don’t got nothing.

With unfolded hands I quietly stand on the fifth floor of a bank.

I’m a pretty smart sister, but I don’t know nothing.

Grace that is greater, yes, grace untold.

I run through the halls of a less than crowded church.

I’m a pretty smart daughter, but I don’t got nothing.

I run down the street to a bus stop where I stand.

I’m a pretty smart daughter, but I don’t know nothing.

Grace that is greater than all our sin!
