The Life & Ministry of Moses: What I learned

A final leadership lesson of the man of God {Ten days in May}

Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he was gathered on Mount Nebo.

The Bible says there The Lord showed him the whole land – from Gilead to Dan.

In his final days our Father took Moses on a personal sight seeing trip. God was the holy one on one Promise Land tour guide for his servant Moses.

Can you imagine?

In my mind, I have no doubt Moses was exhausted after this sight seeing world wind of a tour.

So, when God said to Moses … “I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it, I for one believe by this time Moses was like … your will Lord!

But before Moses, the  man of God, experienced his final days with some one on one time with God …

He took great pleasure in blessing the tribes.

He took great pleasure in verbally remembering and recalling the greatness and faithfulness of the Lord.

Surely it is you who love the people, all the holy ones are in your hand.

In the thirty third chapter of Deuteronomy Moses speaks blessings on the tribes.

In the thirty third chapter of Deuteronomy Moses shows us how to pray for people.

Moses words are few for Reuben. He simply says in verse six.

Let Reuben live and not die, nor his men be few.

Moses has a few more words for Judah, but quickly gets right to the point.

Oh, be his help against his foes!

Moses words for Levi are many, he basically recalls the struggles and strengths of the life of Levi.

Moses asked the Lord to strike the foes of Levi till they rise no more.

I could go on and on, but it’s all right there in the thirty third chapter of Deuteronomy.

We have access to prayer helps and they are in the Bible.

We can pray these very prayers over our people.

We can stand in the gap with the words of Moses.

What if our only assignment is to be the one?
