The One And Only

What She Said

Yesterday, while seated in a Bible Fellowship classroom filled to the rim with two classes in one. It had been just about a month since most of us had seen one another and everyone was just giddy to get back to our study of the Book of John. Sitting there with thirty some like minded Jesus loving, Bible loving, God loving, Holy Spirit loving women was no thing but amazing. As we go over our outside work together each woman has the opportunity to speak. And, when a close friend of mine shared the Bible verse I needed to hear, I was once again awed and amazed in God.

The Movie, Fifty Shades Darker is set to release on Valentines Day. But the truth of the matter is like all movies these days an early release is planned for Friday, February 10 which just happen to be my birthday. I am sure you may have heard by now that I am planning a Pink Princess Prayer Party in regards to this event. My friend had been convicted by the Holy Spirit to mind what she watched and if that ain’t Jesus showing up and showing out, right when you need him … I don’t know what is.

The Bible verse my friend shared with the all of us is Psalms 119:37 (ESV)

Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things;
    and give me life in your ways.

Of course this Bible verse does not tell us what we should not observe but it sure does give great understanding for what we should observe.

It is my hope and prayer to begin stepping back a bit from social media channels while settling in to a year of Creative Living all the while stepping out in real life!

I am so super excited and blessed to connect with all my prayerful friends during each and every week … more about that tomorrow …
