There are no close calls with Jesus, even a heavy breathed out sigh of relief indicates disbelief

disbelief

We have been forgiven but what we do or don’t do has consequences. We re-learned this week in BSF class, that many of the Israelites did not make it to the promise land because of their continual disobedience and constant grumbling. If our Father ask us to move in June or July it ought not take until February for us to act.

When our children are little we instruct them to go this way or that way in order to secure their safety. So, when our Father is faithful to lead us and guide us we ought to move when he says move. We ought to go when he says go. If we believe in the all of HIM like we pray and profess we do, we simply ought not complain. We learned yesterday that complaining is a sin. A sin which declares an ungrateful heart to the community we are ministering to. An ungrateful heart is a divided heart. An ungrateful heart sees our plans and our ways as more pertinent than HIS ways and HIS plans.

Even, a heavy breathed out sigh of relief indicates disbelief to a dying world.

More like Caleb and Joshua is what my heart desires to be. Joshua and Caleb tore their clothes and Caleb spoke the truth to the all of the assembly. But, all of the assembly wanted to stone them.

Of the men who went to explore the land, only Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh survived. Numbers 14:38 (NIV)

But, even after re-learning all this yesterday … I found myself grumbling while sucking in the very blessing of HIS air.

Father Help the all of us in this regard. Amen

Jesus Loves you and so do I.
