What I am learning this Spring (2017) A New Season of Prayer ~ A Necessary Passage

Today we are joining Emily P. Freeman for …

What We Learned This Spring!

Not long ago we lived in a super nice house on The Valley of Gold. I called it The God Sized Dream House, in real life and online. Not long ago Jimmy married me and the nights turned into mornings on a high pillow-top mattress in the master room of the God Seized Dream House. Not long ago we lived on The Valley of Gold and then one day we just didn’t. While living on the valley, I noticed right around the corner from the Valley of Gold is Passage Drive but in order to get to Passage Drive, one must learn to navigate Quest Boulevard before reaching The Clear Circle of Destiny. As it goes with the travel of driveways, boulevards and circles, such is our journey to a rich relationship with the one and only Jesus.

As my husband continues to chop firewood,

I have found myself in a new season of prayer.

As both of my children begin to drive their very own vehicles,

I have found myself in a new season of prayer.

As my son-in-love and daughter both turn twenty-one,

I have found myself in a new season of prayer.

As my son prepares to play college football,

I have found myself in a new season of prayer.
