I’ve been sidelined and sick with the crud for the past forty-eight hours. I know the crud is getting around, but somehow I thought it would pass right by me. Boy, was I wrong again! The crud grabbed me without a single warning sign. One moment I was fine and the next I was laid out on the bed with every bone aching in my body.
As I started to feel sorry for myself, I though of Michele and how much we both love blood-red cowboy boots. You see, we ought to joy in that which we have in common more than our differences. Bottom line is … every single believer in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ has been washed in the very same bath water.
One of our blogging sisters is sick. Michele does not have a case of the forty-eight hour crud. Michele is fighting the worse kind of crud, better known as Cancer.
One of our blogging sisters is sick and no, I’ve never met Michele but we have this one thing in common and it’s the blood of Jesus Christ. So, might I encourage you to sign up and pray for Michele Cushatt.
And let us not forget this note from Margaret Feinberg one year ago.
So, what to do when you are sidelined and sick with the crud?
Pray to our Father in heaven ….
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
