When HE is prompting you to go there alone, it ain’t nothing new

logo-1He was with you on the long bus ride to She Speaks. He was with you as you sat alone in a crowed place on a bench made for four. He was with you on the short flight to Houston. He did not leave you lonely in Branson. He is prompting you to go alone, so you will depend on only Him again. It is that simple. He has no desire to be first or center. He desires to be only. The only one you turn to in your weakness. He desires to be only. He is the truth and the way. He is the light in your darkest hour. He will be with you. Love is the outcome. He will go before you. He will make way. He is the padding of your envelope. The padding of the envelope protects the contents within and ensure that all arrive at their destination unharmed and ready to give the reason for the hope that you have. When HE is prompting you to go there alone, it ain’t nothing new, but now is the time.

Over the past ten days or so, our Father has called me to sit still and listen. I listen to someone speak from the School of Christian Thought. I listened closely Saturday night to the pastor of the magachurch of Murfreesboro. Later, that very same night I listened even more closely to the speaker from Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He shared some solid wisdom with all the children and parents. He said we ought to burn bright. Then, he went on to explain his Burn method.

B– bounce

U– understand your position

Rrecognize the efforts of others

N– now is the time

Now is the time to understand your position, recognize the efforts of others and bounce back when we struggle to get back up again.

When HE is prompting you to go there alone, it’s not the same as Going There with Dedria Riggs. It’s not a conversation with much action I’m speaking of. It’s a command I’ve struggled with. It’s a command I’ve used the actions of others to excuse myself from. It’s a command that has been put before me in the presence of my enemies. My spirit and my soul is convicted I ought to be washing feet like Jesus. When HE is prompting you to go there alone, it ain’t nothing new, but now is the time for some unfinished business with Jesus & me.

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. 1 Peter 3:15
