Jimmy and me were married more than a year ago. But, I only this week began using his name. I lost my cell phone in my sister’s car the other day. When I used my sister’s phone to call my phone the sight of my name made my stomach a little sick. Yes, the sight of my first name without the last name of McCllough made me throw up in my mouth a little. My sister was driving so, I just had to sit with this uneasiness. So, later when I got home, alone with Jesus, we had a little talk. You know what they say, never say never.
That’s right I had more than one special talk with Jesus on Tuesday, while waiting on tests and test results in the oncology building at St. Thomas Hospital and he pointed out a few things about me to me. There were no If then promises just, childlike corrections of this one daughter of The Great and Mighty KING.
